Daniel's Second Christmas

This year we flew to San Francisco for Christmas. It was a much needed trip...most of our family there hadn't seen Daniel since he was about 5 months old, and he is a much different little guy now. Hawaii played in a Bowl game on Christmas Eve, so we took a red-eye flight right after the game ended. Daniel did pretty well on the flight...he woke up a lot because he is getting to be too long for the seats! Nick and I slept off and on.....

After a long flight Daniel passed out in the car on the way back to Grandpa's house!

He woke up feeling refreshed and enjoyed his Christmas cinnamon rolls- fist time eating them! He also met Grandpa and Uncle Jack's dogs...who were waiting patiently for Daniel to drop them a treat.

Dancing with Elmo- his first of many Christmas presents from Lola. He didn't quite know what to think at first but then had fun watching him dance the Hokey Poky!

Daniel had just as much fun playing in the boxes and wrapping paper as he did opening his presents.

Daniel doing some wrestling with his cousins. He was a bit shy at first, but quickly warmed up and loved playing with his cousins. Of course he got so much attention from everyone- they were all so excited to see how much he's changed.

It was a BIG, LONG day for all of us, but it was a lot of fun. We enjoyed being able to spend Christmas with all of our mainland people. And...this was all just the first day of our vacation...so...there is much more to come!
