More San Francisco Vacation Pictures

Here are a few more pictures and stories from our mainland trip. We had a lot of fun....it was super freezing though...us islanders weren't used to it!

Daniel enjoyed a new game with Daddy...he would climb up onto the back of Grandpa's couch and jump off into Daddy's arms...he loved it...he is quite the climber and daredevil all rolled into one- which makes for a very busy mama. He loves jumping off the arms of our couches at home. so this game was right up his alley!

Daniel loved seeing and playing with all of his cousins (I guess their second cousins?) This was Daniel with his cousin Beau. He also got this pair of mini Ugg boots from Auntie Susan...he loved them- he wore them all the time- he would bring them to me to put them on all the time...guess they were keeping his toesies warm in the freezing cold!

Daniel enjoying another breakfast at Grandpa's house. He loved that he got to sit on a bar stool at the bar instead of at his highchair...mommy didn't get to relax quite as much, but what can you do? He had fun, and that's all that matters!

There is this huge house in Novato (where Grandpa lives) that gets decorated with lights and decorations every year...now we are not talking a few lights or figurines in the yard, we are talking the whole entire house. Every room is completely filled with a Christmas scene. The people that own the house move into their garage in November and start decorating. Needless to say, Daniel was fascinated...he loved all the lights. He especially loved the train room!

When we left the house, we all got candy canes...another first for Daniel. As you can see he doesn't like it at all :) He was a big fan...and of course it kept him up way past his bedtime...but we were on vacation- right?!

Daniel and Daddy sleeping in...one of those rare occasions...Daniel will hardly ever sleep in- even if he goes to bed hours past his usual bedtime...and of course mommy couldn't take advantage...my body has become pre-programed it seems to wake up early now...especially when we were over there...oh well- Daddy enjoyed it!

Nick decided to shave his beard (the one he grew ALL season long) while we were over there...I was so excited to see that thing go...until he came out with this....a mustache...not a huge fan...and as you can see from the picture, neither was Daniel...when he saw his Daddy looking like this, he wanted nothing to do with him. He clung to me for dear life....after about a half hour he got used to it...but it was a bit traumatic for him I think!

Daniel also enjoyed the many baths that Daddy got to give him. Nick stays so busy during the season- he hardly gets to see us...much less spend time doing the bedtime routine...So it was great for all of us to go on this vacation and spend time together without football (kind of...can never completely get away when he has his cell phone) but it was great..Daniel and Daddy both enjoyed their time together!
